Dr. MasquelierDr. Jack Arthur Masquelier was born in Paris, France in 1922. He studied at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, University of Bordeaux and has held a degree in pharmacy since 1945. Dr. Masquelier is Rector of the French "Union Nationale des Oenologues" and Founding Member of the Plant Phenolics Group of Oxford (England) and of the "Groupe Polyphenol in France".The inventor of the extraordinary extraction method of OPC, Masquelier was rewarded patent # 4,698,360 (expired 2006) for his pioneering research into OPCs free radical scavenging effect (antioxidant).
